One of the best books I have read in a long time. Inventive, unique, and extremely addictive, Coakley spent time cultivating every last detail in this beautiful fantasy world where the Witchlanders and the Baen are more than just rivals. They hate what they do not understand. Witchlanders is an engaging commentary about so many fascinating things: belief, love, family, acceptance, grief (too many to count). It's been forever since I've picked up a book and been stunned, so stunned that it's led me to deep thought and revelation about our own world. This is beautiful. Flat out, hands down, beautiful.
